I've had another great summer out here training with some wonderful weather, magnificent vistas and, of course, some very tasty French food. Here's some sensory and floor contact drills I've been practicing whilst out in beautiful Boston. I'm trying out the new Brooks Asteria as I find them great to get a good ground contact with a fast reaction off the floor.
When the British weather gives you lemons, head for the Spanish lemon groves! Murcia has some amazing variety of running trails and some perfect bike paths for those all important long marathon tempo efforts. Plus the weather is great!

Even on tired days you can't help but be inspired by the beautiful surroundings and tranquil atmosphere out of the trails of the Pyrenees. It's my 6th consecutive summer here training and wouldn't wish to be anywhere else.
The crowd were absolutely amazing. Such a great marathon to have been part of.
The Hamden Park crowd were amazing... ...and very deafening. Loved every minute
